This tour begins heading east, passing Hveragerði and Selfoss, small towns.
Our first stop is Seljalandsfoss, the waterfall where the brave can walk behind the cascade. And just beside is the so called secret waterfall, or on Icelandic ´Gljúfrabúi ´hidden in a small gorge that you can walk into.
Next up is Dyrhólaey 120 meter high Promontory seacliffs with massive birdlife and extraordinary view to all directions, Mýrdalsjökull glacier in north, the famous Eyjafjalljökull volcano which erupted in 2010 and spread the dramatis cloude of ash all over europe and disturped the flights over europe, the lava sea stacks Reynisdrangar in east and the long black sand beach in west.
Then we will head to the famous Reynisfjara, black sand beach with the basalt rock formations , sea stacks and caves, and in july and agust we can easily see all the Puffins in the cliffs.
Next to Reynisfjara is the village Vík, ideal for lunch stop.
On our way back we will visit the majestic waterfall Skógafoss, 60 meter high powerful and beutiful.
